Anything Box | Peace
The funniest part of this re-release, 30 years later, needs to be told right now. Right here.
Back in late 1989, when the first copies of the Peace album were to be delivered, I had this amazing turntable, and I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of my first “record”. Seriously, I could not wait to play it. It’s that moment when you know you’ve arrived, you know?
But happened was, there was to be no more vinyl, and no one told me. So when the box of the CDs arrived, not only could I not play the record… I had no CD Player! I had to go out and buy one, and they were expensive at the time.
Fast Forward (no pun intended) to now. The limited Edition on black vinyl is out, and here is this wonderful clear vinyl version from TTL. And guess what? I no longer own a turntable! I may have to bite the bullet and buy one.. Or perhaps host a listening party somewhere? Hint?
But I digress. Thirty years years later I find myself in the reversed situation. This is what I call fractal time. I cannot make this shit up.
